Home Quarantine App - Supporting the use of electronic control for home quarantine

In early May 2020, a Government Decree has allowed the use of electronic control for home quarantine. The developer company, Asura Technologies, who approached the government with the idea of the Home Quarantine App. Asura is a Hungarian company with experience facial recognition and GPS-location technologies. Though all personal data remains with the state and Asura has no access to them (they just establish a connection between them), the app itself is operated by the developer company.The use of the app is voluntary; however, the relevant decree encourages its use as the fines for infringement of quarantine rules are lower if one agrees to use the app.
